A few months ago I was at JCPenney and just had to have this:

I love it. It's ridiculously soft and more of a slate/bluish color. I bought it. Had it sent to Germany and a friend picked it up for me.

people to learn how to merge. We all do it, everyday but if I had a nickel for every time I was cut off because some jerk didn't know that he/she needed to yield to me versus the other way around- I'd be completely loaded!

It's been so long since the last installment of I want it... nevertheless, I'm back to let you know what my lil ol' heart wants:

I want... my tendinitis to go away. It hurts, BAD today people. From what I've read there isn't much to be done for it than ice, resting it and NSAIDs.

I want... a steam mop. I'm so domestic it's lame.

I want... to figure out our plans for New Years Eve: London? Paris? London...? Paris...? So many choices.

I want... to know some people that aren't pregnant. Seriously I spend more time on Etsy looking up Monogramed burp cloths than any baby-less person should- it's ridiculous.

I want... the next month to FLY by. I say that now because I cannot wait for R&R. But the next month will slug by then Kevin will get here (God willing- R&R is currently on the fence. 80/20% we will get it but never know with the Army) and those next 15 days will fly by. It's strange it feels like I only arrived back in Colorado 30 days ago but it was in fact 5 months ago. Holy Moly.

I want... to sit in my couch and watch cheesy Christmas movies. All. Day. I'm corny like that. It's August and I want Christmas movies. Who's down?

Insight into myself

I don't have to prove that I'm a good person to you, or you... or you over there. I know it. I know it because  I have the love and support of dear friends that would do anything for me. Not to mention my family and my husband who've yet to fail me and are always there.

I can't please everyone all the time. I can only hope that people won't be so hasty in the future to assume I'm a horrible person... yet to take my words at face value, and going forward will consider my entire post (and all the words making it up) prior to commenting on only one part that was more than likely taken out of context (not considered with the rest of the information provided either in the sentence/paragraph/or entire post). I say what I say (as most people do, unless they're lying) because it's my life experience. I face every experience and encounter with a positive attitude, because I've found that I receive better results going into things with that out-look versus a negative "everyone sucks" or "I'll get nothing from this" or "it won't be successful for me" attitude.

I'm here to help. I'd give you the shirt off my back if I could, the last dollar in my wallet if you truly needed it. I'll also, (always, without fail) offer you a practical, real-life idea that could potentially help you... I'm logical and real. It's how I roll.

Please don't assume that in sharing my experiences that I am short-sighted enough to believe what works/ed for me will help everyone 100% of the time. Shouldn't a good friend share things with the people in their lives that've been successful for them? Kinda what I thought.

I know everyone has missed knowing what I'm currently wanting every Wednesday out of life... so I figured I'd clue everyone in this week.

I want....

I had a stand-mixer, a cheapo-one but a standmixer none-the-less. It did what I needed it to do without spending $300 on it. So I was pleased. Well, something weird happened to it in the packing/shipping process (in our PCS to Germany) because now it only has one speed and that's super-duper FAST. So now I'm thinking I should just bite the bullet and get the Kitchen Aid!

I want...
My nephew to come back to his house so I have someone to hang out with! Remember how I told you guys that I was back home in Colorado for about a month? Well the downfall to surprising everyone is that they don't plan on you being there... (duh) so lil' Nathan had plans to stay at his Gramma's for about a week and since he loves it there and as so much fun I couldn't insist that he stay home just to hang out with me! that'd be selfish.

My husband to be here with me in Colorado. It's more fun when he's around.

Some Wal-Mart Brand Fruit Punch!
It's funny the things you take for granted. I think everything pretty much hates/hated actually going to the Wal-Mart... it's a disaster dodging all the people and children cutting off your cart. But, you just wait until you can't have it anymore... then you'll appreciate it. It's not the Wal-Mart so much that I miss as the Wal-Mart prices. The commissary, of course, has Crystal Light but it's SUPER DUPER expensive. Believe it or not it's still cheaper to have someone (cough, cough my momma) buy the Wally-World Brand shizzle and ship it to me than to buy the Crystal Light at the commissary!

I want... to stop and smell the roses no really, I want to "sample" the new Yankee Candle Spring fragrances:

well these are the ones that appealed to me, there are a few others that I assumed would be more soapy-smelling.

First I have to say, baby Logan is feeling much better he's been oxygenating away and back at home! Lets hope that was the last of this babies hospital visits.

Today I bring you a wintery edition of I Want it....

For those of you who don't really know these:

style boots suck for the snow. I know Uggs are from Australia, not a place people know based on it's massive accumulations of snow. However, I always used them for cold weather back home in Colorado. Let me tell you, once we arrived in Germany it was almost immediately clear that these would not make it the long haul. They absorb all the moisture and really freeze your feet right off (not literally, I still have my feet). Instead one should invest in rubber snow boots... just FYI. Uggs does offer great alternatives for snow... FYI.

I know I haven't done this in a while... and everyone misses knowing exactly what I want at any given moment. Well here's a Christmas Edition of "I want.." for ya:

I want....

Jack Wolfskin- Ontario Parka for Women. In Black please!

I want... More than anything our apartment to be ready on post. I want... to unpack our dishes, pots and pans. I want... to make my bed and climb into it at night. I want... to cook- I miss my pasta. I want... to be in a different room than my husband, not only because he's at work but because I have the option.

I still want... diamond earrings I asked for last year.

I want... my sister to start using her camera, because it's virtually band new and never been used before. Also, because (hut-umm) I'm half-way around the world now but still want to see what's going on (for example, the kiddo's at the Zoo for Christmas fun!).

Heading out

So my last post wasn't very promising. Yeah, I was starting to get depressed, I felt that setting in. But I fought it! I got up and I got out. Ran some errands with Betsey, we went off post again, saw half the "town" (aka street) of Baumholder and she showed me where to get my hair cut and some other necessities! Her and another friend of hers invited (desperately needed) me to play Volleyball with them, they needed a 6th player. So that's something to put out there on my social calendar! :)

We're also planning to get to a Christmas Market this weekend. I feel like a 4 year old, relearning to walk and talk. Sucks. I have to figure out APO's (I was ordering some shizzle on shutterfly and couldn't figure out where to put what info )=...) the language, the customs, ect... But I'm taking everyone's advice and just getting out there. I WANT to experience this great German tradition before it's not an option anymore. Ummm, did you guys know that Christmas is 10 days away? crap! I got some rolls of cookie dough, pam and there's a cookie sheet in the shared kitchen area so I'm going to bust out some Chocolate Chips and Sugar cookies today! Get into the spirit a little bit and all that! :)

I want... Bristol Palin OFF Dancing With The Stars! It's ridiculous she's on this long. Can we just talk about how she was considered a "star" in the first place? She got knocked up at 16 or something and is the daughter of one of the most radical Republican/ Tea Party politicians ever. hmmm. Star. Right. I get it now. Is nothing sacred anymore? It's Dancing With the Stars for goodness sake! I think people forget it's a dancing competition not a political arena to pass you vote for underage pregnancies. Hello, Teen Mom I'm lookin' at you! If she wins the show, God help me I'll boycott! 

I want... whoever thought up my BF Jesse McCartney's newest music video wiped off the face of the planet. It's awful. But he's still friggin' adorable! 

I want... to get organized. I miss my own space... you know the idea of multiple rooms (living, bed, bath, ect) of my own. I'm kind of over this living in someone else's guest room. It's wearing on me. 

I want... everyone to know that my father has volun-told me to handle this year's Thanksgiving feast for ummm, a measly 16 people. Me and my 22 pound buddy, Turk, got this! Gobble Gobble!

I really want... to know WTF this is about:

Seriously?! ugh... Here's praying to God this is nothing more than a publicity stunt. I'm so sick of Taylor Swift. I'm happy for her success on some level. But, I'm not a fan of hers. I find her voice annoying. She's made a name for herself regardless of my lil' ol' meaningless opinion so good for her. But really Jake... oiy! 

I want... to know when the craziness will stop, Bristol, Jake and Taylor.... This world is a crazy place. haaaHA

I Want it Wednesday...

I am, yet again, wanting.... a friggin sponsor!!!
I've been told I could mail myself packages in Germany... yet I don't know how! Grrrr. I'll be checking on the status of our sponsor (again) today.

I want.... our flight with Brody to go smoothly, tomorrow. I'm so nervous to travel with Brody. I'm worried that upon our arrival to the airport at 5AM that the airline will give us problems and everything'll go to hell-in-a-handbag, quick-fast and in a hurry! I think that comes from, having never traveled with a pet before. Lets stay positive-- everything will go SMOOTH!

I want... to share my hair ideas with everyone for tomorrow night. We're flying to San Diego in the AM. This trip has a duel purpose. We're taking our beloved Brody to live with my Mother and Father-in-law, we're also be present for an award dinner since my FIL is receiving an award (obviously, right? haaaha) Remember last week I told you about my adventures to find a suitable dress? Well I found one and still can't find a picture of it to share with you all. But all the same, here's my hair idea:

 

































Yes, they're basically the same, the Brunette is more curly, which I think I like better but my hair doesn't hold a curl for shit so it'll probably wind up like the Blonde (Kate Hudson). I'm good with either one. what do you think? I need something simple to do on my own... let me know if you have any easy ideas!

Just heads up this is going to be a bitchy version of I want it Wednesday. Feel free to stop reading now if you'd like, I promise, I won't be offended.

I want... to know why the miners that found themselves trapped in Chile are "heros"? I'm not seeing what part of their ordeal makes them heroic? Don't get me wrong, my heart goes out to them and their families. I think that they've come through quite the ordeal and I'm so glad and grateful to hear the news reporting that so far everyone is doing well according to the Minister of Health. There are concerns of long-term effects such as claustrophobia, nightmares and anxiety which they'll have to keep an eye out for. But I still don't see how any of this makes them Heros?

PS: the guy who invited his mistress is hilarious!

I want... to know WHY my passport was processed wrong. It was received back on post today but it's wrong-o. It's supposed to be Blue but it's NOT. Swell. We'll find out soon what has to be done to get a new one. I hope it'll be rectified in a timely fashion so that I can still travel with Kevin on-schedule.

I want... some juice. I'm thirsty.

I really want... to have a house when we get to Germany so that we'll be able to celebrate Christmas and New Years like semi-normal people.

I want... my husband to stop being effin-cranky! I'm tired of it.

On this lovely, cool and crisp day with dare I say virtually Fallish weather I want....

I want... German Pretzels. I saw on a fellow blog of someone currently residing in Germany, said that they attended a Pretzel Festival. I'm not sure there is anything greater on the planet. 
I want... to lose weight. I believe I've convinced my sister to venture out into this weight loss world with me. Hopefully we can motivate each other and find away to be successful!

I want... to attend the dueling rallies in Washington DC on October 30th.

This addition of I Want it Wednesday will be special. You will see why!

I Want it to be FALL! I love Fall. PS: Who calls it Autumn? Just wondering if people still use that word at all. Here in Colorado I think we've turned the corner from Summer to Fall. Temps have cooled off, highs are now (only) in the LOW 80's, which it doesn't reach until around 3-5. This makes for beautiful days. Comfortable. I think it's time to put away the Portable AC unit!
I love all the colors that fall brings.

I love the fall holidays.

Fall will also bring our move to Germany.

This glorious Wednesday has bred an amazing idea. I want... (really it just is a necessity- and Hollywood should read my blog and heed my needs) my boyfriend, Kellan Lutz

and Channing Tatum (you know him, if you're without a pulse you can salivate over him here) to do a movie together. I can't see how that would not make some studio a crap-ton of money. I'd see it multiple times, a day at least once.
