So I keep taking a picture with the fire pit just as a reference for everyone to see how much really has accumulated out there. It is really hard to say 6 inches or 22 for that matter because of all the drifts! There's 12 inches over there but 1 over here.... oiy!
Brody is really loving the snow too. Just pouncing around. Sorry I tried to get good pics but that didn't work out so much. :(
Here some shots from the front door.
Does anyone know why the HOA can come out and shovel when we have this much snow, but somehow when we only get like an inche or two it's somehow too dangerous for them to get here? Woe is me...
Wonder when I'll get out of this place????

I am on the phone with hubby now (he is at Ft. Carson) and he said the MP's and Snowplows are the only ones out! He works for the IG office (well he is clearing). So he is enjoying his day off!
So how is it living in CO? I've always thought I'd like to try that place out right along with Utah. As far as Drill Sgt. being a good gig, its definitely better then being deployed so I am going to strive to remind myself of that everytime the going gets tough. Apparently we won't be seeing much of each other during his contract. He'll be working 18-20,hour days in fifteen week cycles with maybe two sundays off in that fifteen weeks. I work nights so when he gets home, I'm not and when he wakes up I'm a sleep. We're talkin he's going to be getting up at 3:00 a.m just to make it to work by 4:00 a.m. We've been dealing with alot of negativity on top of this when it comes to conversations of married couples and going through a stint as a drill Sgt. Even his instructors are telling him that we better make sure our marriage is solid beyond solid because thats what he thought about his wife. They were together for 12 years and was married for 7, note the word was he told Robert. Its not just him either, every one I've talked to that has been in our shoes do not have a success story, so we're just a tad nervous being a newly married couple and all...We're to perfect for one another to ever let anything like this get in between us but I guess we're not looking forward to the conversational and emotional distance thats bound to come. Anyway, like I said, its better then having to worry about him if he were deployed. Been there, done that...I'll take not seeing him but knowing he's coming home to me everynight. I thought about posting a blog asking anyone for a success story:p I figured that SOMEONE has to have one right? If not, I don't want to know about it:p
We have considered Ft Carson in the future...I guess I will be oke with it. You know, the snow, Michigan HAHA
