In other news, we're making headway in a lot of areas lately.
We have someone interested in renting the house for at least a year and possibly interested in buying. I'm really hoping they lean toward the BUY option then the house will be out of my hair and I won't have to worry about it anymore!
Also have some ideas lined up for our car situation but I'm not really sure how it will play out.
Only thing... I'm still very torn about Brody. I want to do what is best for him and everyone that I've spoken to at Baumholder says that large dogs are miserable there. Does that make me a bad owner to know this going in and take him anyway because I want him with us?
The thought of him not coming with us makes me really sad.
But part of being his owner is knowing what is best for him and doing that.
Now I'm depressed and can't come up with anything else to talk about.

Hey, my doggy isn't miserable here. It's work, walks every day, games of fetch and the dog park, taking him to the lake and stuff, but we manage. But I can see where that's a very tough situation. Good luck!

Hey... I found the info for the townhomes on the Baumholder website. Maybe you should read it again... VERY closely. ;) Shocked me. LOL
96 new homes go up in Wetzel housing
By now most everyone knows that new townhouses will be constructed between upper Wetzel and the golf driving range. It has also been announced that much of Wetzel will eventually be leveled to make room for even more new townhouses.
What most people don’t know is that two very special homes for 96 very special families have already been constructed near the Lower Wetzel Gate. They are not military families but they have a right to reside in these homes inside the Wetzel fence. They are swallows and they are protected by German law. These swallows comprise the biggest colony of House Martins, as they are known in Germany, to be found in the Birkenfeld area.
